Allen has over thirty years of experience in education and behavioral support, Allen brings a deep understanding of client needs and case management to the Targeted Case Manager role. He holds a Rank I in Educational Leadership with certifications in Instructional Leadership and Director of Special Education from Western Kentucky University, where he also earned his Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees. His background includes extensive work across diverse settings—from alternative schools and online academies to Therapeutic Child Support and detention facilities. He is certified in the area of Safe Crisis Management and has previously served as an SCM instructor for five years. Throughout his career, he has specialized in supporting individuals with learning and behavioral disabilities, coaching both youth sports and student success, and leading literacy improvement initiatives. Additionally, he has developed an understanding of community and regional resources with a substantial network of stakeholders to assist any community member of any age with challenges they be facing with mental health or substance abuse. Allen has knowledge to navigate the channels needed to enable someone to become empowered on their journey to independence and self-advocacy. Allen’s passion lies in building strong, supportive relationships to help individuals reach their full potential both socially and emotionally.
