Stephanie is a compassionate mental health therapist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a variety of emotional and behavioral challenges. She has worked in school settings and community mental health agencies, helping clients navigate issues that impact daily functioning and academic performance.
Stephanie specializes in working with school-aged children experiencing challenges such as test anxiety, aggressive behavior, ADHD, Level 1 Autism Spectrum Disorder, and emotional adjustment difficulties. She uses developmentally appropriate and evidence-based techniques, including play therapy, role-playing, thought processing, grounding techniques, and a strengths-based approach to support each child’s unique needs.
In addition, Stephanie has experience working with individuals aged 12 and older who are experiencing early signs of psychosis or are at high risk. She collaborates closely with clients and their families to build coping skills and develop personalized strategies to meet treatment goals.
Stephanie earned both her Master of Science in Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Louisville. She is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) licensed to provide therapy in Kentucky, offering services both in person and via telehealth.
